Register for the 33rd Annual COTS Walk

Register today for the 33rd annual COTS Walk, presented by Rice Lumber. The COTS Walk is in person this year, and is the nonprofit’s largest annual event and a critical fundraiser to provide shelter, services, and housing to people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless in Vermont.

Beginning Friday, April 1, COTS has been sharing educational, fun, and family-friendly activities on our website to connect with, learn about, and support COTS. 

On COTS Walk Day – Sunday, May 1st– walk with us live and in person! Music and registration kicks off at 1 p.m. and the Walk begins at 2 p.m. The Walk will take you on a tour of seven shelters and facilities that COTS operates in Burlington. Each stop will educate you on the services provided there, as well as provide some entertainment with music and activities for all ages. Note: we will not be entering COTS shelter spaces, however, we will have interactive features/ installations outside of each area.

Our fundraising goal is $205,000. Thanks to our generous sponsors, all money raised by Walkers goes directly to service and to support families and individuals in our community who are facing the crisis of homelessness. Last year, COTS served 2,222 people including 333 children.
